About the Studio
New Bangs Design is boutique interior design studio out of Minneapolis, MN. Our business model makes custom design accessible, exciting and ecologically responsible. We prioritize reuse, responsibly made goods and updates that stand the test of time. With holistic good as our banner, our designs wrap themselves around our client’s lives to foster joy, calm and pride in the spaces they occupy. Design lead, Bethany Whitworth, specializes in deeply individualized design and nuanced color work.
Full Service Design
The sky is the limit here and I’m always excited for the possibility. Full service design means that I’ll be your guide from concept through execution. This can be style direction, paint consultation, space planning, finish material selection, furniture installation and final styling. We’ll transform your space, making every detail work toward your aesthetic and functional goals to bring out your own personal brand of magic! Full service interior design is offered nationwide - contact me to get started. Prices will be determined based on the scale and complexity of the project.
For shorter, more contained projects, I offer an hourly rate between $75-$110. For larger projects with extended timelines, we’ll make a plan to give you the best value and most bang for your buck.
E-Design
E-design is perfect for clients who aren’t afraid to do a little legwork themselves. Are you looking for athoughtful design plan that fits your budget, and want to handle the logistics? E-design would be a great fit. You take the measurements and then we’ll figure out your style and through the magic of modern technology - email, photo sharing & tele calls - you’ll have a customized design plan in your hands in a few weeks! E-design is also great for projects with smaller budgets and clients who are out-of-state.
Prices generally range from $1,500-$4,000.
Designer for THE Day
When you need a quick concentrated dose of design expertise, this is the service for you. Do you have a few burning questions or need a second opinion? Do you need the basic tools to start a project that’s been on your list or fresh ideas to bring energy to a space? Again, this is a good one for you! We’ll start by talking through your goals and then jump into the fixes we can make right away - that might look like moving furniture and accessories around, determining if the lighting or paint colors are working well, or measuring the space for items you want to buy in the future. We can also discuss my initial style recommendations and favorite sources for items we know you’ll need Or, if you already have a plan, let’s visit local stores together! We’ll shop for goodies that fit the plan and head back to style the pieces we found. This a great way to finish a space quickly - pulling in softgoods, art or vintage items to make your space a true reflection of who YOU are!
Designer For The Date rate is $985 for 6 hours onsite + 2 hours of consultation/follow-up.
This design service is available for spaces in the Minneapolis // St. Paul metro and surrounding areas.
